Cease |
This function enables a customer to terminate a service or product that they have previously purchased. Once a cease request is entered onto the BT system, it may not be possible to reinstate your service and a new provide order may be required. For assistance please contact the BT service team as specified in your order acknowledgement.

Service Id |
Service Id is automatically generated once an order is created for a new provide. For an existing service please enter the service Id. |

Customer Required Date (CRD) |
The date the customer would like the service to be ceased by. |

Rental Liability Date (RLD) |
Rental Liability Date (RLD) is the date upon which billing for the "service" must cease. This date must be Order Validation Date (OVD) plus, where applicable, the number of calendar days as specified in your contract, unless the CRD is later in which case the RLD must equal the CRD. If, at the CRD for Cessation, the "service" is still within its initial contractual 12 month term the Customer will be held to the Rental Liability Date (RLD). The contractual 12 month RLD is taken from the date of "Service Provision". |

Billing account |
When processing an order for the provision of a new service the billing details need to be established. All products and services must be associated to a Billing Account. Customers should specify that the new product/service is to be added to an existing account by selecting the appropriate account details. Should the required account number not be available please contact your respective BT Account Manager.

The site contact is the nominated person who can be contacted by BT in order to assist with installation requirements.The customer will be required to supply the telephone number and name for a site contact, at the site or sites, for service installation.
