Amend Order Details: Etherway
 
 
 
Provide
A Provide is a brand new service and will generate the service identifier or PSID for that service. During the order journey of a Provide some details can be changed via an ‘amend’ order, or it can be ‘cancelled’. Once the provide order is complete the service becomes an asset, after which point any alterations that need to be made must be done via a ‘modify’ or via ‘cease’ and re’provide’ depending on the product offering. The Provide new products option enables you to add a product or service to a current order or to create a new order.

Amend
This function enables you to make an amendment or change to an “in-flight” order, e.g. Customer Required Date (CRD). An amend request can be placed during the progression of an order; please refer to your product handbook for any constraints relating to the particular product you wish to amend. Where a request for an amendment is made (including Customer Required Date), a process, where applicable will be used to initiate the resetting of the customer required by date (CRD), Contractual Delivery Date (CDD) and Customer Promised Date (CPD).

Service Id
Service Id is automatically generated once an order is created for a new provide. For an existing service please enter the service Id.

Customer Required Date (CRD)
The date the customer would like the service completed by. This is not a guaranteed date for installation, but BT will endeavour to achieve the requested date where possible.If associating an Etherflow to an Etherway that is not yet installed, the earliest CRD that can be accepted for the Etherflow is +1 day after the CRD of the Etherway. The default setting does not account for any service dependencies.

Billing account
When processing an order for the provision of a new service the billing details need to be established. All products and services must be associated to a Billing Account. Customers should specify that the new product/service is to be added to an existing account by selecting the appropriate account details. Should the required account number not be available please contact your respective BT Account Manager.

Service point
You are required to supply termination details IE: Room, Floor and location details at the given site.

Site access details
Specify any special access arrangements i.e. does the site require prior notice? Are there any safety hazards, or risk assessments needed to be carried out? Is a key or identity pass required?
